depends if ur a guy, wid short hair or a chick wid long hair, ur skin colour nd ur hair cut (fashion sense). well, assumin u r a guy wid short hair, wid wheatish complexion, probably chestnut, nd if ur dark, then dark brown. but dont do the streaks blonde or grey. if ur adventurous, then get a side fringe nd color most of the streaks lite brown or even blonde, but dont over do it, just c wt suits u, actually.

red/maroon or for a diff. twist choose a pink or blue or green!

Hmm ... black hair ... this color is sometimes pretty tricky to work with ... color wise of course ... but when i do see highlights in black hair the colors are occasionally a semi light brown as well as a red or auburn color! Don't do blonde because i think the colors would clash ... unless of course you get the perfect shade! So good luck in deciding .. i hope i helped you and don't worry anything you decide to do ..
